Successful completion of commissioning of the Anixas II diesel plant - Namibia

The TriEl team successfully completed the commissioning and commissioning works on the electrical part of a diesel plant 50 MW Anixas II в Walvis Bay – Namibia.

The plant is an extension of the existing Anixas I plant and replaces the decommissioned Paratus power plant. The new plant consists of 3 units of 18MW each with MAN engines and INDAR generators. The generator switchgear is gas insulated SF6 switchgear 11 kV by Siemens, relay protections are SEL manufacture.

TriEl was the main designer of the electrical part for the plant and the contractor of the commissioning works.

The design and commissioning works were completed according to the overall site schedule and accepted by the end customer – NamPower.
